Join us for a 4-week educational and support course designed for caregivers of individuals living with dementia at home (not in a care facility). Led by Vicky Pitner, a Certified Dementia Practitioner and author of The L.O.V.E. Approach to Living with Dementia, this series offers practical tools, emotional support, and evidence-based strategies to help caregivers navigate the challenges of dementia care.
To ensure the best experience and outcomes, participants must meet the following criteria:
- Commitment to Attend All Four Sessions: Consistent attendance is essential for continuity and group connection.
- Current Caregiving Role: Participants must be actively supporting a loved one with dementia who resides at home.
- Weekly Coaching Participation: Willingness to engage in brief weekly phone coaching sessions to reinforce learning and provide personalized support.
- Contact Information: Participants must provide a valid phone number and email address for communication.
- Home Practice Activities: Willingness to complete “fun work” at home to enhance learning.
- Follow-Up Surveys: Willingness to participate in follow-up surveys at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months after the course concludes
- Consent for Study Participation: Participants will be asked to sign a photo release form and provide a brief social history for research and documentation purposes.
