About the Program
Tampa Theatre opened in the heart of downtown Tampa on October 15, 1926, as the masterpiece of acclaimed theater architect John Eberson. Since then, it has survived the advent of “talkies,” the Great Depression, World War II, a global pandemic, a harrowing rescue in the 1970s, and a century of changes in how people want to go to the movies. On the eve of its 100th anniversary, learn how Tampa Theatre has continued to grow and change, all the while holding fast to its century-old appeal.
This program is sure to fill fast. Please register.
