Join Chef Warren as he shares dozens of kitchen tips, cooking hints and humorous anecdotes about the joys and challenges of Middle Eastern cooking for two. Chef Warren will explore and demonstrate fresh, bold and flavorful, favorites like shakshuka, falafel, shawarma, and tabouli and will show you how these wonderful dishes can be part of a healthy repertoire.
Chef Warren will end the presentation with a cooking demonstration, preparing a healthy Middle Eastern entrée that anyone can replicate in their own home in less than 15 minutes.
Chef Warren Bio:
Warren Caterson is a chef and full-time writer who studied at the Southeast Institute of Culinary Arts. He is the award-winning author of “Table for Two – The Cookbook for Couples”, "Table for Two - Back for Seconds”, and "Cooking Outside the Lines - Musings of an Extemporaneous Chef " (Winfield & Scott Press). As someone who grew up in a family that loved to cook and whose household on Long Island Sound bustled every weekend with dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins and neighbors, he learned early-on the benefit of good food and good drink with good friends. In addition to writing, Chef Warren travels extensively presenting his informative and entertaining cooking demonstrations at Food & Wine Festivals, Home and Garden Shows, Conventions and other events across the country.
When he’s not on the road, Chef Warren resides in Sarasota, Florida. He invites you to drop by if you're in the area - there's always something cooking and there's always enough.
