REGISTRATION CLOSED!
This program is at capacity and our wait list is full.  Hope you can sail with us another time! Ahoy!

Enjoy Tarpon Springs’ most popular boating ride—a leisurely 2-hour cruise down the Anclote River into the Gulf of Mexico. Our captain will narrate the entire trip, where you will learn about the history of Tarpon Springs, the famous Sponge Docks, and the ecological importance of the waterway.

Our Adventure Island Cruise includes looking for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, fish, tropical foliage, and other local wildlife.  We will land on Anclote Island, where you can get an up-close view of the lighthouse, stroll the beach, look for shells, or even take a dip! Bring your camera and plan to make wonderful summer memories together!

This FREE, exclusive library summer family event is open to all ages with very limited registration REQUIRED. Each attendee will receive one drink ticket (water, Gatorade, or soda). Personal food can be brought on board, but no coolers are allowed due to space limitations. The event is wheelchair accessible.

Registration is IN-PERSON only at the children's desk at East Lake Community Library beginning on June 1st.
