Event Details

As part of ELCL's 25th Anniversary Celebration, we are bringing back the Edible Book Contest! Cook, bake, or simply arrange any types of food items that reflect a book title or character or makes a literary pun (e.g. Game of Scones). Judges will choose the best entry in each age category for $25 gift cards. there will also be a Fan Favorite based on patrons' ballots submitted on November 9th for a $50 gift card and trophy!

Call or register online beginning October 1st to submit your entries. All submissions must be brought to the library between 5:30 and 7:30 PM on Thursday, November 7th, or on Friday, November 8th, during regular business hours. Judging will take place on Saturday, November 9th, during the celebration with winners being announced at the end of the afternoon. Be sure to have your friends and family come to vote for their favorites during the festivities!

 Please have your name, book or character, and age category on a SEPARATE CARD with your display and place them on the tables in the Community Room prior to November 9th.
