ELCL Adults: Join us for an adult field trip to...Brooker Creek Preserve! We will be learning about:

Featured Creature: The Coyote

Join UF/IFAS Natural Resources Extension Agent, Lara Milligan as she discusses a resident species to Pinellas County, the coyote! Lara will explore the life history of the coyote as well as its ability to adapt and survive in urban environments. If you have seen a coyote in Pinellas County, you are not alone. Come and learn about this nocturnal creature and its presence in our area!

Speaker:

Lara Milligan is the Natural Resources Agent for UF/IFAS Extension Pinellas County. Her work focuses on wildlife, water, and general environmental education. Lara earned her Bachelors and Masters degree in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of Florida and is a graduate of the Natural Resources Leadership Institute. 

This presentation will be held at the Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Center. All registrants will meet there at the time of the program. This program is free. Please register with the library so we have a headcount on how many participants to expect. This program will be held in the auditorium. It takes about 10 minutes to drive from the preserve entrance (Keystone Rd.) to the parking lot, and there is a 2-5 minute walk from the parking lot to the auditorium. Follow signs to the auditorium.
